The MX-V EVO is Arai’s ultimate off-road helmet. The PB-CLC2 outer shell is manufactured using a special Z-compound resins, and balanced by a lightweight inner liner for reduced overall weight.

The MX-V Evo is follows the MX-V and has evolved from the legendary VX-3 and years of Arai’s competition experience can be found in its ultimate MX, Enduro and off-road use helmet. And, while fashions in helmet appearance come and go quickly, the MX-V’s organic R75 shell design exists for the same reasons it is in all Arai helmets: to create a smooth, round shell shape that maintains its integral strength.

• Designed completely from scratch, with all the experience and knowhow gained in decades of title winning racing.
• Outer Shell PB CLC2: Arai’s Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction greatly increases shell strength and flexibility while maintaining low weight and a lower centre of gravity. Positioned across the top of the eye port, this band contributes to the use of a thinner EPS liner which greatly enhances the upward field of view. A specially designed “mechanically expanded fibre mat”, sandwiched between the inner and outer layers of Arai’s proprietary Super Fibre Laminates, is used to reinforce and bond these two Super Fibre layers without adding significant weight to the helmet. The latest “Z-Mixture” resins increases material adhesion requiring less resin for a stronger bond between materials for a thinner and lighter shell.
• R75 Shape – Based on a rounder, smoother and stronger outer shell, the R75 shape concept offers real-world helmet performance where it really matters. The deliberate absence of exaggerated edges or protrusions maintains the integrity of the shell when real impact performance is asked for.
• Advanced peak design - A helmet peak protects against glare from the sun and roosted mud and stones, as well as decreasing wind pressure. The MX-V peak performs all these tasks while look good at the same time!
• New side trims at the edges of the aperture allow the goggle strap to stay firmly in position, even during extreme riding.
• Easy-to-clean and replace diffusers, centre top vent and dual intake create an increased airflow. The under-peak air intake collects and directs cool air into the helmets
• A fully replaceable interior. All parts including interior lining, cheek pads, neck roll and even the chinstrap covers can be easily removed for cleaning, maintenance or replacing.
